Modern pops of color mixed with classic intimate style.

Taking place at the phenomenal Dana Powers House, this styled shoot was absolutely gorgeous and we’re sure that a more perfect location doesn’t exist. The day started with bridal preparations by Bellizimo Beauty for both the updo and half-up curled styles as well as the youthful and natural makeup.

Once both hair and makeup were set, it was time to slip into the elegant white dresses that awaited them. Both brides, Erika & Senny, wore stunning, timeless masterpiece dresses by Epiphany Boutique with white lace to paint their sculpted silhouettes. The fall of each shoulder whispered delicacy while the detailed trains wove their love story together.

Just before stepping out in front of their guests, the brides instead met each other in the magnificent library, that of which resembles a book-lover’s dreams. With literature from floor to ceiling, the book shelves matched the wall of glass looking out towards their ceremony space.

After a few private moments to take in the day and calm each others nerves one last time, the couple was ready to begin their day. In the lush green gardens of the Dana Power House, officiant DJ Bob Stock led the two beautiful brides in their vows.

Post-ceremony, the couple shared an intimate setting full of gorgeous MDL Events florals & tablescape design, Embellish Vintage Decor, Bella Couture Linens, and of course - Mixed Events specialty cocktails, created masterfully with the brides in mind.

And then, the party!!

With guests arriving, the brides made their way into the rustic barn atmosphere where the reception was to take place. Guests were greeted with balloon garlands from Glitz & Gather, warmly glowing marquee letters from Alpha Lit Central Coast, and a fun and easy family-friendly photobooth by The SLO Booth. While Cali West DJs pumped the best jams through the sound system, guests could choose from the jaw-dropping charcuterie table by Amazing Grazing or sliders and tacos from DMQ Barbecue. To quench their thirst and get them ready for dancing, guests could sip on delicious handmade cocktails from Mixed Events or grab a pint of locally made beer from the Tap Truck. And, of course, we can’t forget dessert! Both ice cream pops from SLO Mama Sweets and a lovely cake and dessert table from Golden Opal Baking were sure to delight.

And the evening finale, of course, was none other than a gorgeous painted sunset sky over Embellish’s Vintage Rentals.
